Wedding Day
The ceremony will take place at São Quintino Church in Sobral de Monte Agraço at 4:00 PM.
The reception will be held at Quinta da Grilla in Alenquer.
Reminders and useful tips
For those who wish to be driven home either because they didn’t bring the car or because you want to leave it at the venue, below you can find some options to get back home safely:
1. Driver Service (Sebastião Horta e Costa – 915 200 322)*
- Book a driver to take your car home – 75€ (5€ extra if you are staying outside the municipality of Lisbon)
- Book a driver to drive you home in his car – 90€ (5€ extra if you are staying outside the municipality of Lisbon)
* To reserve the service, contact must be made up to one week before the wedding date, and the service must be paid for up to 3 days before the event.
** If a client who has already paid for the service no longer needs it for any reason, a full refund is available up to 5 days before the wedding. After that, only 50% of the amount will be refunded. No refunds will be given for cancellations made on the day before or the day of the wedding.
*** To make things easier, the couple can provide my contact information to the guests, and I will handle the details directly with them.

3. Uber – There are Ubers in Alenquer but it can take a while if there is high demand at that time.
Ladies – very important – we want to remind you that we are getting married in the countryside, so it is extremely important to wear comfortable shoes. Stilettos are not recommended!

Our story and the day we got engaged
Six years ago, our story began on a lively night out in Lisbon. Carolina was visiting from Sweden, and we hit it off right away. When the summer ended, Carolina moved to Chile, while Afonso stayed in Portugal. Despite the distance, we chose to stay together.
After a year of long-distance, we decided to close the gap. Afonso flew to Sweden and helped Carolina pack to move to Lisbon, and just before the world changed with the onset of COVID-19, we took the leap and moved in together.
Our family expanded with the addition of two dogs, Nala and Stark, who brought boundless energy and love into our lives. Another move brought new adventures and memories, and it was during this time that we got engaged, marking a new chapter in our journey.
Soon after, we found out Carolina was expecting our first baby. The news was thrilling, and in January, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Madalena into the world.
Now, as we prepare to tie the knot, we look back on our journey with a smile. From meeting in Portugal to navigating long distance, building a home together, adopting pets, and becoming parents, it’s been quite an adventure. We’re excited to celebrate this next step with you and look forward to what the future holds.
